Killed The Ads & Logging

: Well I have killed the ads, most were done by scripts & scripts will not be tolerated like that, the first ads were porn & viagra kinds of stuff, you know that stuff the click ad folks want to Spam you with in your e-mail, most of the ads were gambling sites trying to get everyone to click so they can try to make money. : If you get these problems on a message board such as wwwboard you can delete all the crud but if you do that you still are not done since the script kiddies set up to attack you message board, there are ways to fix this: : Rename the message board to another file such as wwwboard to yourboard.pl and get rid of those Ads, if you are running wwwbaord your log will show the file numbers so there is a bit of work to do such as edit the main page & just edit the pages that are Spam with stuff you want since wwwboard has data.txt still on your site, this is some work to do it like this. : Run a message board that runs cookies I think is the best way or block the IP Address or maybe run a board that require Java or Javascript, some folks like to turn Java and Javascript off to secure their computers. : Checking referer, this can be beat but I am not going to say how.
